SEA S1 SERIES
Powerful and incredibly easy to cast, our SEA S1 rods, just like the S1 series, are built to maximize your chances and have as much fun as possible every time you get out on the water. This means rods that not only allow you to present the fly on a dime in any type of conditions, but also fight and land fish. The new SEA S1 rod series redefines what we thought possible when building a saltwater that is both light in hand, powerful and strong enough to fight the biggest, most aggressive fish, yet a pleasure to cast.
For us to design rods offering top notch performance in all categories, we have used the latest materials and technology available, trying to combine them into a perfect match to reach our desired goal. It took us years of experimenting and fine-tuning to get here but we are convinced the result was all worth it.

Rest assured, all our rods are crafted from the most advanced materials available today. But simply using high-modulus graphite and graphene doesn’t make a great fly rod. The real challenge for anyone aiming to build exceptional rods is finding a way to make them perform flawlessly in real fishing situations.
That’s why we worked tirelessly to ensure every rod model within the S1 series feels and performs consistently. If you try and love one rod, you can be confident that the rest of the series will meet your expectations as well.

The Hexa Grip not only makes gripping the rod easier, reducing strain on your hand and forearm, but it also helps you find the right angles for more precise casting. The unique foam and carbon shield construction allows the blank to load even deeper, giving you a more direct feel of the rod.
There’s a reason all of us at Solid Tackle use the Hexa Grip ourselves. For our spey rods, we’ve intentionally designed the handles slightly shorter than traditional spey handles to engage your lower hand more, helping the rod load deeper. This makes casting more effortless, allowing you to tap into even more power from the rod.
